A partnership between two Anglican dioceses…
Bringing together the Dioceses of Lesotho & Durham
Our Story
For over 40 years, the Durham Lesotho Link has connected people, churches and communities across two dioceses and two nations.
Rooted in Christian faith, we share friendship, knowledge, experience and practical support, creating opportunities to learn from one another, serve communities and invest in a brighter future for children and young people in Lesotho.

At the heart of our partnership in Lesotho…
An adventure centre with a purpose.
In the heart of Lesotho, our adventure centre provides a place for people to stay, explore, learn, worship and connect.
From outdoor adventure and team-building to school trips, youth programmes, conferences and group visits, the centre creates opportunities for people from Lesotho, Durham and beyond to experience this extraordinary country and one another.
It is where our partnership becomes something you can experience for yourself.
More than an adventure centre.
The centre is part of a much bigger story.
The Durham Lesotho Link exists to strengthen the relationship between the Anglican Dioceses of Durham and Lesotho creating opportunities for people to meet, share, learn and support one another.
Our centre helps make those relationships possible.
It provides a place where churches, schools, youth groups, organisations and individuals can come together, while supporting the wider work of the Link in Lesotho.

A partnership that makes a difference
We believe partnership isn't about one side simply giving to the other. It's about walking together, learning from one another and creating opportunities that benefit both communities.

“The facilities and accommodation were clean and well maintained with the kopanong being a ideal location for our meetings and indoors games.
The views of Maseru from the lake are also gorgeous and the local kids often joined us for jumping in when we were on the water.”
— Hannah“We really enjoyed our time at the Lesotho Durham link center.
We were on a staff mission trip with Rock UK and the staff were welcoming and accommodating.
Security was good and I felt safe and relaxed for the duration of the stay.
Mme mamagelas and mme m’klos food was soo good and a real highlight of the trip, a cultural experience that I’ll never forget..”
— Visiting Instructor from Rock UK“The place is just the right balance of serenity and a bit of the city in terms of location. The lake view under the shade of an array of trees is so beautiful with birds chirping away. You really have a range of activities for both kids and adults making it such a destination for families and everyone looking for a small get away. I love the landscape”
