Ha Mohatlane
The Ha Mohatlane project was a major part of the early life of the Link.
It was opened on 4th February 1995. It is near Teyateyaneng, an hour’s drive from Maseru.
It still has great importance in the life of the Lesotho Durham Link.
On the Ha Mohatlane site the main building is a church. The arms of the building hold a primary school. There is a health clinic. Other buildings provide space for a Government funded training scheme where young people learn bricklaying, welding, carpentry, sewing, cooking and domestic science.
It is also the centre from which support work is currently done with Child Headed Households and their guardians.
